VACUUM is a private photo and video sharing app for family and close friends. You share a moment — a few photos or short clips — with the people you personally invited, and only with them. Nobody can find you, nothing is public, and every moment is deleted everywhere after 30 days.

Every feed you’ve ever scrolled was built so you couldn’t finish it. That’s not an accident — it’s the product. Endless is the business model: another video, another suggestion, another stranger’s opinion, precisely calibrated so there is never a natural place to stop. Your attention is the crop, and the scroll is the harvester.
VACUUM ends.
What’s new shows you the latest from your people — newest first, nothing ranked, nothing injected, nothing recommended. When you’ve seen it, you’re done. The screen tells you so, and it means it. Some days that takes two minutes. Some days there’s nothing at all, because nobody you love happened to share anything — and the app just says so and lets you go.
That’s not a limitation we apologize for. It’s the entire point. Your family is not infinite content. Your friends are not a feed to optimize. There are maybe a dozen people whose Tuesday you genuinely care about, and when you’ve seen their Tuesday, the honest thing for an app to do is end — and give you back your own.

Moments last 30 days, then they’re gone — from our servers, from every phone, everywhere. No archive, no memories feature, no past hanging around. VACUUM works like life: you were there, and then it’s a story you tell.

You can react or reply to any moment, and it starts a private conversation between just the two of you, attached to the thing you’re actually talking about. No comment sections. No performing for the room. When the moment goes, the conversation goes with it.
No scoreboard.
No likes to count, no views to check, no seen-by lists. Nobody knows you looked unless you choose to say something. Share it because you wanted them to see it — that’s the entire transaction.
It lives on your phone.
Your moments are delivered to your people’s phones and ours holds them only long enough to get them there. There’s no website to browse, no cloud library, no web login to leak. Two devices per person, and that’s the whole footprint.
It only speaks when spoken to.
Notifications are off until you turn them on. Pick what you want to hear about — new moments, reactions, replies — instantly or as a digest, or never. No badges, no streaks, no “we miss you.” The app waits.

These are not features we have not got around to. They do not exist, and they are not going to.
No audience
No discovery, no search for people, no suggested accounts, no trending, no public profiles. The only people who see your moments are the ones you handed a code to.
No inbox, no group anything
There is no message centre and no shared comment space. You cannot write to anyone without a living moment to attach it to, and nothing you write is visible to a third person. No group surface is coming later.
No counts, anywhere
Nothing is totalled for anyone — not likes, not views, not replies, not connections. There is no number on this product to make bigger.
No engagement machinery
No badges, no streaks, no usage scores, no re-engagement campaigns, no “you haven’t posted in a while.” The notifications you switch on are the only ones you will ever get.
No businesses
No brand, creator, advertising or analytics surfaces. Businesses and influencers are structurally excluded, not discouraged.
No tracking
No analytics, no fingerprinting, no behavioural tracking and no attribution SDKs, on this site or in the apps. Ever.
Said plainly
VACUUM is not end-to-end encrypted
Moments are encrypted in transit and at rest, and they are deleted on schedule — but we hold the keys, so we could technically read them. We are telling you that rather than letting you assume otherwise. What we promise instead, and the one narrow exception where a human reviews content, is written out in the privacy policy in plain language.
Invites and support
You need an invite code from someone already here. There is no other way in. Codes are handed out by people who already use VACUUM, one code per person, and they stop working seven days after they are made.
This was built for the handful of people who’d actually ask about your weekend. You know who they are.
